Default Serpentine Belt Help

I need a cross reference for serpentine belts. I have the "new" GM part number, but I can't find a cross reference so I can buy a Goodyear Gatorback or Continental belt.

Can anyone help me on this?

Thanks.

I don't see your year so you will have to check if it fits your car:

Hope that helps.

Gatorback is now Continental Elite, I use them with no issues after daily use for 3-4 years.

I love the gatorback/continental elite.

On the old 3l swapped cougar there were several people convinced that the car was supercharged due to the sound of the belt

I think I have the answer. Goodyear Gatorback Part #: 4060802 is the wide belt for the top side and Goodyear Gatorback Part #: 4040420 is for the smaller thiner belt on the bottom. I think the part numbers are the same for Continental. I have compared them to what was on my car and they are identical.

Sorry for the delay, I thought I responded earlier but unless you have an underdrive pulley then yes, 4060802 is correct.

You get it installed yet?

This weekend. It was a PITA getting the bottom one out, so I'm assuming it will be the same putting the new one back in. I'm glad I'm doing this preventitive maintenance because I found a small crack in the lower belt.

I also bought a Katech belt tensioner to put on. I'll give an update when all is put back together.
