1998 Corvette coupe with 40,000 miles. It has a defective traction control module and General Motors doesn't support this part anymore. Mid-America and Eckard don't inventory this part. I called Dino's Salvage in Mississippi, left a message and they never returned the call. Anyone have any ideas?

There are several used parts vendors on the forum, including the one mentioned above. Give them a call to check for availability of a traction control module.
I know John Llewellyn has a couple on the shelf (used but tested)
He was at Corvette Expo last week.
Going price around $1500.00 (M code Non active handling) I don't know if he has the J code.

When you contact a vendor for a used EBCM you will need to know whether the car has the Active Handling RPO (JL4). That is listed on the RPO sticker which on a 98 may be on the bottom of the rear left cubby hole cover. There were two different versions of the EBCM on the 98 - 2000 C5 depending on whether the vehicle had Active Handling.
