Hi guys. I tend to hang around the C-1 side of the forum but I was hoping you all could help me out. I have a 1950 Chevy truck that I've retrofitted with a 2000 5.3L truck engine. I had to go with the f-body pan and a Holley accessory drive. My issue is that I wanted a better looking motor so I got an LS6 intake off a 2002 corvette. I want to run fuel rail covers and ive found the part numbers for the brackets and the coils. No where can I find the number or a source for the little bolt with a stud that holds the fuel rail covers. See pic below. Anyone know where I could get them? My back up plan is to make something but after I go to the trouble of smoothing and painting some covers I would really hate for it to pop off and get wrecked so I'd rather do it right. Thanks
Thanks for that part number. I guess I'm out of luck. No junk yards around here have ls1 engines for me to take parts from since they all sell as take outs and everywhere online that little bolt is $26 each. A few places it's on sale for $16 each but that's still rediculas for a tiny bolt. I got excited when I found one vendor selling them for $3 but then they wanted $26 shipping. WTF.... I guess I'll have to figure something else out.
