Congratulations, I think we were on the same page as I just bought a 2001 convertible after about a 3 year absence. Unlike you though my last vette got hit and was totaled. I walked away without a scratch which is a testament to the way these cars are built.

Well I Loved my C6 it was my favorite of all the Vettes (91,98,2005,) I've owned . I'm not knocking C5;s .The seating is wider and more comfortable .Not much difference in horsepower but throttle response was better. This is the only convertible I have owned .I have always had coupes but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on this one .Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome back !
