C7Carbon | Race Edition Front Splitter for C5 | 3D DESIGN, input welcome!!
Hello again! We are excited to announce that we are once more developing a new product for the C5, the Race Edition Front splitter. We have made a digital 3D scan of the C5's front for the most accurate reference as possible. The Front splitter development will take place on cutting edge 3D modeling software and 3D prints. Your feeback will be greatly appreciate it and we'd love to hear any suggestions, help us build that splitter you've been looking for your C5!

Something like this, only one piece. Lots of C5 race cars out there, and the only ready-to-race/functional front aero bits are made by only 2 companies, and both only make them out of carbon, which is great if you are building a full on race car, but not cost effective.
I am currently building something like this myself, and I would have considered buying something...but it is currently all just custom fab work :/

Just make sure you leave the center of the spoiler/splitter open for cooling. The ACP nose with integrated center opening is sweeeeeet, but I would rather just add a nice spoiler rather than replace my entire front bumper.

I like the one posted by fyrarms but personally I would prefer a little less aggressive version... I am not opposed to cutting my bumper to match the opening in the splitter and allow even more air to get through, I had actually already been thinking about doing that anyway

A little less aggressive would appeal to me more as well. Also, yes make sure it can still breath. I already have your carbon fiber ZR1 side skirts, and your race wing. I don't have a splitter to complete the look because I can't find one that I like that doesn't block airflow.

when are you guys planning on having these ready to go?... I just bought some side skirts and will be looking for a splitter as well... as of right now I like the one apsis makes the best but I want to see how this turns out before I make a decision

Things needed for me to buy one.
Keep the center open for breathing.
Undertray attachment points.
Turnbuckles for support.
BTW excited to see where this goes. I'm nterested in both a half bumper and just a splitter.

^ That appears to be the full ACP World Challenge bumper, and they attached a splitter directly to the bottom of the bumper instead of using the spacers. You can see the spacers in my post above. Post #5.

I like the one on the blue car, I would be willing to cut my bumper to make the opening larger... is that the same splitter as the one on the red car you posted above it?... the one on the red car looks a lot more aggressive but it could be the angle of the pic

Thanks again guys! on of our projects is precisely the front splitter with center ventilation. We hope to post news on this very soon

No, the bumper is the same, but the splitter is different. Would be a piece of cake to make your own splitter, really. Just a big ol' piece of material cut to size with some mounting holes in it!

This is what I am doing to my car. It is a cut stock bumper, matched with a Vortex lip. However, it is hardly functional with just this, that is why I'm going to integrate an undertray/splitter with at least 2" of overhang. You win't get any usable downforce without at LEAST 2" protruding from the foot print of the bumper.
