Saw that a while back. Wonder why he decided to give up before 3/4 million miles?

Pretty cool, but isn't 750,000 miles 3/4 of one million?
Not sure of the owner's timeline, but if I was that close, I really would have tried to reach a million.

Wow, that's a lot of miles. A million is easy to say but let's do the math. If you drive 50K per year which is a lot of miles to drive per year, 1000 per week on average it would take you 20 years to get there. So you would have needed to buy a 97 when they first came out and drive it 1000 miles per week until now. Unless you are on OTR truck driver, good luck with that! Putting it into perspective makes the feat even more amazing!
