[Z06] handling q, and spring rate selection help needed
highest priority is the suspension.....The Issue I am having is when I hit a pothole or something there is some drift.
I have experienced this before and it was found to be a faulty control arm bushings; but apparently after some reading this is a "normal" issue with these cars?
Regardless it has high mileage and needs some love anyway so I have all poly bushings for the control arms and poly engine/tranny mounts. I have already went with an aldan coil over kit. my justification is the stock shocks are prob gone and allegedly it fixes the "drift issue" in addition I can enjoy true independent suspension as well.
I have purchased the fronts @ 550lbs but wanted some input on the rears....i am thinking 600 but one place said they only have 550 and 650.
I want to use it 75 street/25 autocross/road course.
I just think the rear needs a little more than the front to keep it planted since it seems "light", lol.
what do you guys think? 550, 600 or 650 for rear?
additionally I will be going with gmpp front and c6z for rear sway bars.
