The Magna supercharger was already installed on my 2002 Corvette when I bought it. I'm the second owner and haven't had any luck getting information from the original owner. I've been searching for awhile trying to find a trustworthy place to put my Blue Demon on a dyno.
I finally decided on National Speed in Wilmington, NC and I wasn't disappointed. Great people who actually care about what they're doing and great customer service. I dealt mostly with Dane and Vlad. They took the time to look over my Vette before the "torture test" on the engine and even tried to calm my nerves. After the initial run, Vlad discussed the results with me. My Vette was running lean at higher RPMs. He was able to fine tune things and even added 22HP!
The final results: Max Power: 477.74 Max Torque: 470.36
Good numbers....on a cold day that boost will kick up a few more PSI...be careful the Maggie puts down some good torque and on a cold day you can find yourself facing the other way quickly
I just realized who I was replying too....hope you got the gages and everything straightened out

Well...the gauges aren't installed yet. Yeah I know. I actually had the pillar in my hands earlier today. I've been trying to wait until the huge interior switch over project, which unfortunately got delayed. The new schedule is in March. It's hard to do while trying to coordinate between 4 different shops and I want everything done at the same time. Guess I need to give in and do the project in phases instead. It would drive me crazy for a few months but at least it would eventually be completed.
I've already surprised myself a little after the tuning. I got on the gas pulling out into traffic and was amazed at the difference the tuning made. The power feels smoother now if that makes sense. Thank God I stayed straight and in my lane LOL
I'm a little surprised to see that shop uses uncorrected power/torque values. It's not a big deal, just that most dyno shops will use correction factor for standard atmospheric conditions.
But regardless, you have a very nice car and it was smart of you to have it dyno tuned to correct the lean AFR. Hope you enjoy all that torque.
I am in same boast as you, second owner and don't know much about what the first owner did but I have a Maggie on an '02 Z06 with 20k on the clock and really want to know what kind of power I am producing and what things I should do to help protect the motor if they haven't been done already. I honestly thought you might be turning a little better than 470. Did the shop talk at all about boost or how it was tuned? Can you get more out of it or is that about it?

That's exactly why I took mine to a dyno, to learn more and to ensure things were tuned correctly. One issue we ran into is the installed serpentine belt is slipping. On Dec 7th, I'm getting gauges and a higher quality belt installed. Hopefully it will grip better on the supercharger. We didn't talk much about the power, they just corrected the lean issue with the initial tune. I've still got a lot to learn about my Vette...not even sure the right questions to ask LOL
