Stock Suspension upgrade?

By that theory a Citroen 2CV should outhandle a Corvette, and a stock Z06 should have a softer suspension than the base coupe. I think what’s missing here is the absence of the EXTENT of stiffening that a different piece of equipment will provide, as evidenced by your own choice of suspension components.
Yes a Citroen 2CV actually do outhandle a Corvette, you can turn into a corner with 5km/h and huge body roll and clear the corner perfect still with 90 km/h in the same corner it will have the same amount of body roll and clear the corner perfect
By the way i went with C6Z06 shocks and Steinjager something swaybars 1.25 front 1.0 back on my 02Vert

I got the poly bushings but they seem to creak and squeak a bit so I will be changing to OEM stock bushings soon...

Did your ride characteristics change at all?

My stock bushings were so worn that I couldn't get a good alignment and the car would tram line like crazy.
I had to go with poly. I can only compare them to worn bushings. There is more road noise and a bit harsher ride but overall I like the way it handles. I don't have much noise but the grease fittings probably help. I also have some interior sound deadening.
I like hearing what others think of them as well.

steering is more responsive...front end does not lean on tight turns and curves like with stock sway bars...love the difference....and that's just with the addition of the C6Z51 sway bars...next on my list will be changing to metal sway bar links to replace the stock plastic links...

SO much misinformation in this post, WOW.
Put Used C5 Z06 springs and bars on the car with Doug Rippie valved Bilstien shocks on it with some 200 tread wear tires on it along with the Pfadt street tire alignment. 95% of drivers will never reach the limits of this setup.

Do what ya want, just because it bolts on the car is not a good reason to put them on.
Most guys(if not all)in this post have no track experience in any car much less a C5.....along with zero knowledge of how suspension works.
C6Z shocks, bars and springs were designed and valved for a C6Z, not a C5.

C6 Z bars are designed for a longer wheelbase car with a lot larger tire.

But the C6 Z51 bar combo has a very similar K factor ratio as the C5 Z06 bar combo. The C6 Z06 shocks are also very similar to the '04 C5 Z06 shocks and most could not tell the different in a blind back to back ride/handling comparison test of new vs. new shocks. Plus currently the C6 parts seem to be less expensive. So what's not to like?
