Vinyl hood design
Has anyone installed a designed vinyl cover on the exterior hood. I want to do a veteran type eagle, flag, POW design on my hood. I was wondering if it would affect paint after a few months.

I vinyl'd my hood and parts of my car out for a Region Vs Region autocross a month ago. I won't affect paint if it's garaged and out of the sun's UV beating on it. But if it stays outside and sits, it won't mess up the paint, but the color fade will show.

Keep the car from being in the sun all the time and your paint should be OK.
