Being a two plate state, as much as I wanted to, I couldn't put the Corvette filler on the front, and have been looking at it for three years sitting on a shelf in my storage shed.
I put it to good use today for the fireplace in the den.
I didn't realize that old frame that once held a clock, look like a tire, at least from a distance.
I'm in a two plate state and mine will be on the front of my car...if I get a ticket, then I guess the plate will have go on...
I live in a two plate state, too. I have not used a front plate for twenty years, have been pulled over several times and the cops have never mentioned the missing front plate.
I live in a two plate state, and I had never been pulled over. But I got pulled over today for it. Luckily just got the warning from him, but I was honest about it and said it is just one of those things.
The guy was cool, laughed about it and said have a nice day.

I'll be honest here- kind of tacky to have this in your living room rather than in the garage or an office room. Kind of reminds me of college dorm-room swag/"art".

But to each their own.
It's not in the living room, it's in the den,
Think I will take the suggestion to put some kind of border around the mounting edge.

I really don't think the cops here even take notice of front plates...
more importantly than it not being in your living room, is that it isn't in his house
I don't have a garage, and just leaving it on a shelf in my storage shed it risked having other stuff piled on top of it, but this way I get to keep it safe, should the time come when we become a one plate state, and I can put it on the Vette, where it belongs.

I’m on LI, New York . Small towns , a lot with they’re own police and code inforcement. 2 things happened . My daughter got a ticket , didn’t answer , big problem . I talked to her about obeying traffic laws . I got 2 tickets for no plate , and realized I wasn’t good example. I have a front plate . Now if I can get out of this speeding ticket I just got I’ll be OK
I had a LEO tell me I probably will never get hassled for no front plate and I don't. No front plate on my DD regular car either. No problems with either car. Maybe the advantage is living in a rural area where not much really happens like more congested urban areas.
