Default Came Back To Corvette World

Hello all. I sold my C4 earlier this year around the winter time. I had a good experience, did lots of work to it. My C4 build thread is somewhere in the C4 section of this forum.

Thought I'd try German cars and purchased a 2006 330i with manual trans and sport package. But the old Corvette saying got me as usual. "Once you drive a Corvette, you'll always buy another one", or something close to that. I got bored woth the bimmer and started looking for C5Z cars. Those are still going for good money with higher miles.

I ended up finding a 2000 one owner FRC with only 23k miles on it. Older gentleman had it. It has LT headers(Not sure what brand yet), stainless Magnaflow exhaust system and a few other goodies. The dealer told me the original owner wanted to know who purchases his car. So the cool thing is, I'll find out what exactly was done to it.

Here are some pics of it when it had just been traded in. So it hadn't been detailed yet. Although the original owner always garaged it and detailed it every week. It still smells like new GM!!

I don't know Chris. They were already on the car. I'll ask the original owner once I speak with him soon. I'll post up on here.

Wow! Nice clean looking FRC with exactly the right number of pedals for some "spirited" driving! All depends what you like but I'd lose the stick-on, add-on doodads. If they work for you then by all means leave 'em on. Good luck with your new baby, very purdy!

Thank you. I definitely will take off the ugly chrome crap on the tail light and 3rd brake light. Replace those ugly blue bulbs to led.

Feels good to be back in the forum. The BMW people were a different breed. I remember installing a little tiny M logo on my steering wheel. It was probably about 1/4" in size. Someone noticed it and freaked out. Then everyone jumped in and bashed me. Holy crap. I was lmfao.

Pewter is such a great color on the C5. Congrats on getting back into a Vette and best of luck with the car.

Try installing a Z06 decal on your FRC and see what happens here.
Car looks nice. Let us know what other mods when you find out. Is the back end lower than the front?

Yes, it does look like the rear is lower than front. I'm not feeling that look at all. I'm going to raise the rear up a little and even it out. Car came like this. Haven't crawled under it yet to see what they did. Stock bolts go that low??

Yes, I had two GTO's. I had an 05 M6 car with all the bolt ons and a Magnuson supercharger. Made 525whp with a mild tune. Then had an 06 A4 n/a car. Cam only, stalled, Lt's, all the bolt ons. Made 430whp.

No Z emblems for this car. Although I do like the Z06 wheels. I'm on the fence on getting some.

Plans for the car will be to find out what work has been done. A cam will be in my future. Along with an LS6 intake if it don't have one already. CAI and a few other bolt ons.
