Basically a new car. I'd actually be concerned by the lack of miles that everything may be dried out.

They have some interesting, over priced cars.

That silver Z06 looks pretty good, though. I would take that over the 2003 you posted, for sure.

Haven't seen a Vega in years, lol

It almost has a new car price too! No C5 is worth that much, even if it has 0 miles...

I would hope they change all of the fluids, hoses and install new tires at that price!
But it is very Nice!

If the fluids haven't been getting changed on a regular basis over the years, I wouldn't want the car anyway...if it's got all original fluids in it, all of those internals are already messed up...

The value seems to be low miles so you would have to keep it low, investment only I guess

I agree, anyone that would buy this for that amount of money would just stick it in a garage and not drive it....kind of a waste

As a person who has been looking for and restoring old cars , started back with my father in the early 60s . FYI these newer cars ( C-5s are older but newer that and old 57 Chevy) I have found out sitting up for years does not hurt them as much as one might think .. They have new high teck. fluids and the material that the gears are made out of as good as it gets and the newer gaskets are state of the art and will last for a very long time ,takes years for them to go bad.. Its a new world in auto technology try to catch up . The old school beliefs no longer hold up with the newer auto .its a new day .. Change the fluids and tires and drive it like you stole it ..

Guess maybe it is the climate they are stored or how they were run or even how long they were run. I have looked at a few sub 20k mile cars and looking underneath at a few of them those newer state of the art gaskets were weeping fluids like it was the 1960's.

All good information in these posts but I still don't think it's worth that kind of money and I do not believe it will be in the near future.

When I looked at an '04 Z with 13k, I asked if it came with records and it did not. While synthetic oil is awesome, how often could it have been changed? Every year? Every 5k miles? That's why I looked at 50k-75k mile cars when I bought mine. I wanted a car that had seen at least a set of tires in 14 years.

<edit> They were asking $24k for the Z 4 years ago.

That's what I was thinking. I'd rather pay an extra 5k and get a 0 miles C7.

Where are you getting a new C7 for $40K? I've yet to see a new one for less than $84K.
