Wondering where I can some race ramps for a good price so I can get under and change the oil. I see that they tend to run about $250 give or take at some of the more popular sites that cater to Corvette parts. Seems a bit high given regular ramps can be had for less than $50 at most auto parts stores.
I have 3" tall race ramps from my race car and they get the vette high enough to get my jack under. had some made out of 2x10's and they would slide on the floor when trying to drive up on them. If you check summit racing sometime they are to bad in price.

I use the track ramps as my car is real low and won't drive up taller ramps. These track ramps get it up enough to slide a low profile harbor freight jack under it.

Race ramps are worth every penny and dealing with Fred at Reverse Logic is awesome. I have the two piece and absolutely LOVE them.
This is one of those products where you get what you pay for. I have their ramps, pucks (AWESOME) and their wheel guides.
I was using ordinary ramps I got at auto parts store. I have 2 C5's. A z06 very lowered track car and a stock convertible. I use wood in front of the ramps to be able to get the cars onto the ramps. If I need more height I jack up further from the ramps and use jack stands.
But, I recently sprung for a Quick Jack.
Love this thing, obviously more costly then ramps but for me well worth it. I have 11 cars. The Quick Jack fits easily under all of them except my track car. I have my track car in the garage with all the tires sitting on 2" X 6" piece of wood. This gives me ample clearance to get the Quick Jack positioned at the jack points.
I was considering all sorts of lifts this past year & due to height restrictions in my garage I was going to get a scissors type jack with about a 40" max lift height but a lot of the scissors types restrict access under the car. I was also considering the Quick Jack because it gives access to wheels and no restrictions under the car at all. This past Aug a guy had a Quick Jack at the track. I asked to give my Z06 a try and it worked perfectly without any wood under the tires. It was a tight squeeze without the wood. I use the wood for the bit of extra room it gives positioning the jack in place. I loved the way this thing worked and the height it gave me. My best new toy in years.
And for oil changes you can raise the rear a bit higher then the front to be able to drain more oil out.
If you're not familiar with it, google it: Quick Jack.
I would love to get the Race Ramps or better yet the Quick Jack. With all those cars in your stable, did you get the 5000 lbs vs. the 3500 lbs unit?
Luckily for me, my low profile (3-1/4" saddle height) 3000 lbs floor jack fits under my lower FRC with the jacking pucks in place. Its a PITA to get her up high enough and titled properly to drain the oil using four jack stands but at least the slight incline of the driveway helps. I figured with all the effort needed to get her up in the air I might as well check off a few other items off the maintenance to-do list. Nice way to spend the afternoon on one of the last sunny warmish days of Fall back at the end of October.
I like your spirit , I just see the word race, and figure discounts will be tough to find on a good product for that market. I guess life has beaten me down.
I don't use them often , and I wouldn't offer this as a replacement for race ramps, but I just cut up a 12x12 board at home depot and stack , three foot long on bottom, two foot , one foot on top. Keeping them as a pile of boards makes them slightly less space intensive. Just don't run off the end of the ramp. My main equipment are jack stands and a harbor freight low profile three ton jack. I do have a trick valve in place of the stopper bolt.
