yeah, good ones are going to be tough, all of them did that...unless you get lucky and find someone who never used theirs and you can get it local....shipping is $$$$ and sketchy at best, probably end up broken because no one wants to pay to ship them right
a good one will set you back about $400-425 ...sold mine for $375 and it was very good but still had some stress cracks in it

I'm guessing you mean the clear one. There are several places you can find on the net that refurbish them. Mid-America does them too but I used them and I do NOT recommend them. Here is just one of many:

Vendors like Mid-America Motorworks and AstroTops sell replacement targa tops and you send yours in as a core. Might want to check them out. Or check with a used parts vendor here on the forum and see what they might have in stock.

I have found a place to get a new Targa Top at what i conceder a good price . It is call Astro Top in Alabama. Web site Astrotop.com. I do know that they have smoked tops but not really sure if the have colored ones.

Thanks for the lead. I called, but they only offer the painted tops in red, black, or white. I would have to bear the cost of a paint job that'll probably run $200-$300. The price they quoted was $950 unpainted. I might have to go that route, but for now I'm holding out on getting lucky in finding a yellow one for my C5.
