On Speed TV today there was an episode on the 03 Z06 and Viper. On it they said the Z06 production for this year would be around 10,000.

I can see where there may be less produced. The rumors of the C6 coming out are putting a damper on sales as people are deciding to put off a purchase, particularly in light of the down economy. The anniversary edition and 350Z are going to steal some units.
I look for 03 sales to dwindle, particularly after the 0% has run it's course. This may force Chevy to up the horsepower for the 04's to keep the plant busy.
Good time to buy though, since discounts are bound to be deep.
