Default After Market Steering Wheel Question

Looking to change my steering wheel on my 2000 vert to a Momo or Sparco. I figured out I will need the NRG SRK-500B adapter and SRK 170H adaptor. Since I don't race the car, do I need the quick release or is there another item in place of the quick release (SRK-200)? Any help would be appreciated.

Put a Momo in my car. I used the momo adapter. I've got 1SB car with the telescoping column. In the fully extended mode, I didn't need an additional spacer on top of the adapter.

Stick with the NRG adapter, though. My momo adapter required modification to fit in the column shroud. I've heard the NRG does not.
