New tires= Spring fever
I know it's the middle of winter and we're a solid 2 months away from any decent weather, but I'm so excited to have picked up my new tires today. I ended up going with stock sizes, FIRESTONE FIREHAWK INDY 500 XL. I bought them from Tire Rack. I'm located 15 mins from their warehouse so I was able to pick them up and avoid the shipping cost. $479.00 out the door. I know the Pilots are better (out of my budget). but I did my research and these had some awesome reviews. I'll do a full review after a put some miles on them.

I have no experience with them but I have heard good reviews, and the price is excellent.

That's an awesome price for 4 tires. Heck, years ago, that's what just 1 rear tire cost for my C5 (not stock size)

Excellent price for four new tires. Looking forward to seeing you post a review of how the tires perform on the car.

Interested in seeing what you think of them after you have a chance to drive them some.
(Realize you're still, unfortunately, probably 10-12 weeks away from driving time).

Seeing as where you are not installing them for a while, you might want to read this article about storing tires safely.
The article is from Continental tires(which mine are), but I believe this would pertain to any tires that are being stored.

Thanks Bob. Great info in there. Yes, mine will be stored for a month or so.

Great looking tire and price too! Good luck with them. I'll definitely take a look at those.
Like you, I'm a few months away from driving (Massachusetts) and have just started looking...Baby needs a new pair of shoes this spring...2003 50th AE. In your research, did you happen look at the Nitto NT555 G2's? Their on my radar primarily because I'd like to widen the stance just a bit with 255/45's in the front and 285/40's in the back. Not finding those sizes with too many of the well known manufactures. Open to ideas...
