I know this seems like a silly question, but has anyone found a way to properly line up the 2 screws for the driver’s side knee kick that mount from underneath. It’s a royal PITA!
Patience! Problem is the fastener moves around! When I was an octopus it would have been no problem. I’m missing at least 6 of my arms and flexibility is a distant memory.
The clips the screws go into can slide around. I found the best practice to be get the panel in place, stick screw partially in, pull down panel while feeling for screw and clip, slide the clip until aligned with screw, push up on panel, tighten screw halfway, then do the same for the other screw. In my case, the screw won't back out of the panel easily.
Thanks guys. I’ve tried using a scratch awl to line it up but the awkward position usually results in a slip or dropping of something . I used a mirror and 2 bought for this purpose led droplight style flashlights so I can see. Still could use a few more hands tho’.

Pay the kid next door a few bucks to do it, he'll get it done in less time then it takes you to get down there.
It may seem excessive but you could always take the seat out to give yourself more room. Remove 4 nuts and an electrical connector and your seat is ready for removal.

Wish I thought of that sooner! Since I just replaced all the rugs, and reinstalled the seat, I’ll just suck it up (in?) and get’er Done.
