Few months back I purchased a c5 and now just realized that they have 19" tires all around. Will that cause any problems? What would be the reason to do this? Also, what would be the approximate cost to repaint the front clip and hood to get all the knicks out? Thanks

Having 19" tires on all four corners will not harm anything as long as you still have the proper stagger from front to rear. Your tires need to have between a .5" and 1/5" difference in overall diameter in order to keep the AH/TC system happy.
To find out what the overall diameter of your tires are, look at a site like the Tire Rack and check the specs of the particular make/size tires you have on the car.
Reason for putting same size tires front & back: So you can rotate them to even out wear. If unidirectional tires, only go back -> front & front ->back on the same side of the car.

I read somewhere reliable on the forum 3% is the maximum deviation in diameter before electronics start to get confused. Lots of manufacturers don't sell tires for my 17" stock front any more, I can't get the tires I want. Running a square setup with 4 18" rears is really common, and my car loves it, causes zero issues other than scuffing at full lock. Not to be contrary, but about every C5 z06 I see at the track or autocross is running a square setup, no stagger. You better do the math on diameter, and remember if the 19s are taller, your speedo is under reporting your true speed. (which you can also calculate how much at say 70mph).
