Default Newbie trying learn!

I have a 99 vette and I notice I have a hose that is connected to something under my driver side headlight, lead back to the firewall but it's plugged off. Any clues??

Thx

Mick

Could be the air check valve system. Some of us had it programed out.
Just a guess. Part of the emissions system.

The air pump is mounted in that area by the left headlight. Maybe the pump doesn't function anymore and someone did a halfassed modification to the system.

Interestingly, that is the air pump of which I mentioned. In my own car I was having problems with the system setting codes so I had the computer tuned to delete it and removed all the components. My car still passes New Jersey inspection.
