Default Sun visor sticker removal

Any one do it?
How did you do it?
Was the material under the sticker harmed by removing them?

Thanks.

Bob.

only know one person who did it...immediately regretted it as it did mess up the material underneath...

they then set about trying to find a replacement sticker...don't think they ever found it...

When they were brand new, yes.............warm up with a hair dryer. After 15 years, not so much. Just leave them on for posterity.

I like your idea! I've got plenty of CF vinyl around. Did you make the sticker and then apply it?

In my 99 I just completely removed the visors. I'm 6'4" so they are not needed (or wanted).

The sticker would work. I have left mine on the visor since after all these years it really doesn’t bother me.

I made the cover first. It just a shade larger than the warning label. Don't make it much larger as the vinyl DOES NOT stick to the fabric. Then apply what ever you want over that.

On my Scat Pack I a buddy cut me some vinyl thst said Charger & Scat Pack. Added some Red Dodge hash marks and then the cut letters.

I really hate the look of those stupid stickers.
After reading the answers, I think I may take the visors to an uphostery shop, and have them recovered in something close to the light oak seats.

Bob.

In 25-30 years people who supply these things to restorers will be getting big bucks for these stickers. That will be a big negative on your score from the NCRS judges when yours is missing.

I'm 79, so I don't think I need to worry about that.
