Fix-a-flat

Noted that they now offer ‘sensor-safe’ sealant - will replace the can I carry in the car....

A friend sent me a link to this Truck-U segment where they show application of Slime into a deflated tire as a preventative measure. While interesting - I’m not sure this works in a performance car. There are other products out there that will inflate the tire and also use sensor-safe sealant....

I will change out the flat fix I have. It looks like the Slime might have fixed this, at least long enough to get to more complete service.

You know Jim, my tire guy has trays of ‘stuff’ on his counter, all that came from tires. Look at yours, it’s just hard to believe sometimes!

Yes, my tire shop has a similar collection of things found stuck in tires. They were going to add this one, but found it too hard to get out.

I ended up buying two new rear tires, since the remaining rear was well worn.

I just bought a can of Fix a Flat yesterday. Putting on new Michelin Pilots next week that are NOT run flat. They had 11oz cans for $10.95 and 16oz for $11.95 at the Navy Exchange. My wife says "bigger is better" so I got the 16oz can.
