Default Advice on a Wind Restrictor

Anyone have a Wind Restricter installed? I'm curious how well they work in deadening the wind and noise in the interior. Thoughts?
They are running a sale that ends tomorrow, $100 off so it might be the time to purchase.

Wind restrictors do afford some reduction in wind noise and turbulence in the cockpit, but my wife still voices her disdain for top down if we are going out and she doesn't want to be wind blown. Myself I love the top down and the wind, at anytime weather permits.

Plus the wind restrictors look funky IMHO.

I put one in my 03 vert. It helped a little.
I don't really like the way it looks. I wouldn't do it again. Might sell it. Might keep it.
$100 off is a good deal. I wasn't hard to install.
I probably didn't help you did I?

I have a Vette Net which is essentially the same, except that with the Vette Net you can easily install & remove it in 2-3 minutes.
When we go on long drives with the top down we will use it and I would guess that it reduces the wind by around 40%. My wife likes it!
As a result of our use it only is installed several times during the summer!

Mostly this is to help the wife like it better. She hasn't complained much but when we take the vette she isn't a fan of highway speeds, (even below 80mph lol). So i thought one of these might help.

It helps a bit. Don't get the RGB or any LED thing, it's a ripoff. They use a $5 LED strip and a $15 controller that gets interference from everything you drive by, and charge you $100 for it. Needless to say, I fully regret doing their LED thing instead of doing my own LED install.

I had the VetteNet and Now a Wind Restrictor. Much prefer the latter. I didn’t get it lighted but I did get it etched and it looks good. It helps with the wind but not entirely. Or did the VetteNet. The only thing I don’t like about the Restrictor is that for the C5, it tips forward a bit by design to accommodate being able to put the top up without removing. Not a big deal but it bugs me a bit when I look from the side. Contact Ashlee Corbin at Wind Restrictor. She is top notch and knows everything there is to know about it. By the way.....Great Customer Service! You won’t have a problem if you decide to order one.

Okay, I'm going to give it a try, I'm not as sold on them as i was but it still sounds like it will help. I ordered one with etching with the C5 emblem. It comes with a single color LED so we'll see how that works.
I'll update once i have it and install it.
thanks for the replies.

I installed one on my c6 last summer and my wife and I both love it. Imo, not only does it it look great it also cuts down wind/noise considerably.
I'm thinking you will like it a lot.

Personal opinion ... I do not like wind restrictors and I REALLY do not like top down/ windows up! If you don't like the wind, noise and open free feel, they make a coupe. Again just my opinion.

I think it will help, last time we took the car out the wind wasn't bad but with some improvement it would make conversation better. I'm hoping to take a road trip this summer and want to do some of the drive with the top down. To much wind would limit us some so we'll give it a try.

I have had one for three years - with the etching and LED lights. I like it almost as much for the cool nighttime appearance as for its effect on the wind, which is quite helpful. I think you'll be happy with it.
