Default Gone in 60

So, I haven't seen anything like this before on CF, unless I am wrong; so I thought that I would create this post.

Here is a video about how to prevent the theft of your pride and joy.
Tell us what you think.

Many of those do not apply or would be difficult to do on the C5. Doesn't get easier than this:

I had it on my last truck, and will be putting it on my new truck arriving soon.
On my C5, I have a much more intricate GPS/App/Alarm/StarterKill system.

I’ll stick with full coverage insurance, thanks though.

That's why I pay my annual premium.

I too have insurance, but I have 3 vehicles that are worth WAY more $$$ than insurance would ever cover..
Plus the sentimental value in them... I have a few ways to help deter theft..
Good Post !!!

Pretty interesting stuff.

I always thought the most common way cars were stolen was to use a truck with those spreaders that grab the back wheels.

When I travel, I just pull the fuel pump fuse or Ignition fuse when parked at hotels.

Most car thefts occur by chance and opportunity when the keys are left in the ignition. They are usually joy rides and you eventually get your car back. With a C5 it will probably have been beat to hell. Professional car thieves use flatbeds and tow trucks and the car ends up in a chop shop. Remember to take your keys, park in a safe spot and have full coverage insurance. If a pro wants your car he will get it if it runs or not.

All good points, cant stop a tow truck park it where it is hard to get, on my cobra have a fuel shut off so they can enjoy a 300 yard drive before I help them out of the car, I would think without a key a c5 is hard to start
