Default Missing small stuff

So as I go through my car, I'm missing some small things, specifically a battery tie down and that little trim piece inside the driver's door grab handle. Where's the best place to find little things like that?

I also have a cracked center console bezel. I've seen the new double-din from Vettenuts and it looks fantastic if I decide to upgrade the stereo, which is a distinct possibility. I may try a repair.

Vettenuts likely has those other parts too. If I recall correctly they part out cars.

You would be surprised what C5 parts you can find with a quick search.

These are the only parts I've bought at my local dealer. They had them in stock at a good price (cheaper than this) and didn't have to pay some crazy shipping price.

Yep that's it. Nice it's available on Amazon for cheap. Lots of times there are a couple vendors out there with good reputations that supply stuff like this, just wondering if there were "go-to" vendors for the little things.

I know about search, and I'll probably pick it up from ebay. Just wondering if there were recommended vendors out there for this kind of stuff.

Usually to get the best price on C5 parts you have to shop around. I have found that ebay and Amazon usually beat vendors prices. Especially if they offer free shippimg.

I found a part on Vendor's site and then checked Amazon (as I usually do) and they had it from the same vendor at a cheaper price.

Even though I don't ever recommend buying parts from your local chevy dealer, these door handle plastic plug thingies were cheaper and available at my local dealership cheaper than any online price, plus no shipping costs.

Pull Handle Plug - GM part# (10279471)
GM List Price: $9.05
Most of the time dealerships charge list price for parts. If you got it cheaper they gave you deal.

I've bought 3 or 4 of them over the years. I think the last one was about 6 bucks. Still a stupid price but cheaper than online with shipping costs. Plus they always had them in stock.

I ordered these two items from Amazon (prime, no shipping charges), and eBay (0.99 shipping), thanks for the heads up! In the future, I'll just spread my shopping around. In the ZR-1 and euro-centric worlds I'm used to playing in, a few vendors pretty much supply everything. I'm not used to spreading such a wide net, but it's a good thing - better prices which is a big reason I have a C5 now.

A lot of them must have fallen out to keep them in stock. My local dealership has very little C5 stuff in stock.

They must have felt guilty charging 9 bucks for that little piece of plastic.
