Default Help rear spring bolt broke

Anyone have any idea if Lowe's or HD carries a bolt that'll work, I'm in the process of checking old threads also, but stuck on the side of the interstate. Wanted to try to just fix it here, but if not I'll have it towed.

If you can get the correct size (diameter, length, and thread pitch) and grade, try a Fastenal store. The problem with the chain hardware stores is they may not the correct bolt. Maybe the correct length but not the correct grade.

Dealer would be the best bet but pricy.

Trying to replace the bolt along the freeway can be a problem. You would need a jack and lug wrench to get that corner of the car up high enough and then have the correct tools to remove the bolt. And if the bolt is broken near the head, getting the rest of the bolt out could be a real pain. Towing sounds like the best way.

Fastenal is closed, it looks like only HD and Lowe's would be a option. I'm gonna agree and have it towed.

and good luck. You made a good decision to have the car towed instead of trying to fix it on the side of the road.
