My new to me c5 came with brand new tires mounted on corroded OEM polished Y2k wheels. As much as I want to upgrade to Tsw Nurburgring wheels (and will probably keep an eye on the parts section for a used set), I hate to waste good tires. I've picked up a set of painted Y2k wheels for cheap, and I'm wanting to paint them and swap the tires. The car is silver, and I'm considering gold/bronce/gunmetal. Anything but black... Looking for pictures and haven't had much luck on Google.
Here's a silver car on bronze powder coated wheels, though these are Z06 wheels. I'm generally happy with it, but if I had the chance to do it over, I'd go a shade darker. This pic is in direct sunlight, so they seem extra bright here.
