Default Tiny looking crystal dots on windshield?

See crystal dots in the morning if the sun hits windshield--never seen before--

Could be a number of things but I would guess it is small chips caused by road debris.

The nose doesnt have any nicks ect--like new--ill try clay bar and see what happens

If the front nose is like new then my guess most likely tree sap. if you wipe the windshield with your hand you should be able to feel the sap spots or the windshield has tiny minute air bubbles in the glass maybe.

Clay bar didnt work--i agree it has pin size air bubbles--likely from the factory--just never noticed before--

there is a term for that when the glass starts delaminating like that.

first time it happened to me I thought i gotten weld splatter on the windshield some how....then my friend who was an engineer at a fiber optic manufacturing company saw it and told me exactly what it was just like you said

2001 Z06--9,000 miles--im seeing about 8 pin size crystals on drivers side--about same on pass side windshield--weird
