Jason, I've got mine all mounted up and on the car. The weather here has been so lousy, I still haven't been able to get my car out on the road so I can take some pictures. I'll send them and post as soon as I can get a chance. They look great in the garage.LOL

Ditto on the pics, looking forward to seeing that set up, I'm a big fan of the Hankooks for their cost, handling and tread pattern, not to mention they're much quieter than the Michelin Super sports I originally had.

I hear nothing but great things about the Hankooks. I really wanted the Michelins, but their sizes are ALL jacked up. Even with a proper 265/35 front 305/30 rear size stagger, the Michelin sidewall height was still taller in the front. Not just a little bit, but easily noticeable. Goofy sidewall heights bug the heck out of me. LOL

The current Hankook $100 mail-in rebate was an added bonus! Our local Discount Tire store gave my friend his dealer pricing, which he extended to me. Literally, I got the Hankooks for a steal.

Great looking well made rims. If I ever change out my rims, the F14's would be my choice. Should look great on your C5.

Man they're going to look awesome mounted. I've been seriously contemplating selling my SP500's for a set of F14's in the exact finish (what's really weird actually, I had the CCW's on for a bit and swapped for winter and when I did I fell back in love with the sock Z06 wheels, they really do look great), and haven't seen many C5's sporting this finish, as most usually go with black. Though I'm not a fan of black, I've been tempted by the absolute ease of cleaning and lack of hours needed for upkeep, unlike my raw SP500's. Just thinking about having to clean them is making me shudder haha.

I suppose I should get some of that wheel protectant you use because I daily mine and it rains a good amount out here, so my car and wheels get pretty grungy from time to time.

I wish Forgestar would make the wheels fit the c5 without any poke. Although my poke is minimal I still do not like it. If they ever do make stock offsets then I will swap mine out. The f14 is the only wheel I actually like...

Poke??? Forgestar is a bespoke wheel maker. You can literally have them make whatever. People just buy what the stores carry.

I spent quite some time rigging templates on my car before I came up with +53 as the best rear offset for me. It cannot be more exact; I've measured it People just don't typically take into consideration the tires when they measure for their wheels. I have. There is also somewhat of an optical illusion because of the shape of the body. The fender pinches at the top of the arch, causing it to come out of line eeeever so slightly with the profile, and the body tightens inboard just in front, and behind the rear wheel. What looks like poke might not be, but it looks that way from select angles.

My specs are 18x9.5 +50 for the fronts, and 19x11 +53 rear. Tires are Hankook Ventus V12 EVO.2's in 265/35/18 and 305/30/19.

I'm pretty sure Forgestar will make any offset you need. You could look into having your wheels machined. Just get a little taken off the wheel mounting surface.

Hey Erik, did you mount the wheels sans tires and use a straight edge to see how they lined up with the fender?

From your pics, the only thing that might appear to "poke" out, might be the tires and that can be changed by getting a different profile tire.

This is not to say that your setup is bad or you didn't do your homework etc, just curious and by the way, your setup is awesome as hell!

dark sarcasm, I cannot seem to find a place to shave the wheels as you mention. Have you seen this done before on these wheels? I would think it may harm the integrity of the wheel.

Eric, your car looks great. If mine was like that I would be fine. Two questions. 1) Is that lowered on stock bolts? 2) how much negative camber do you have? Love the look...thanks

I've only used experienced reputable wheel dealers in the past that understood exactly what I was looking for on wheel specs, so no I have no personal experience with trimming down a wheel. I've only seen internet discussions on it. But wheel manufacturers don't design a new wheel for each offset application. They use the same wheel stocks and machine down the wheel mating surface to the requested offset, so unless you need to take a wheel down past the manufacturers maximum offset then I wouldn't think it would affect the integrity of the wheel.

For anyone wanting Forgestars, you need to speak to Jason at GetYourWheels.com. He is the person who worked with Forgestar to establish the correct backspacing for C5 fitments, based on his C5 experience in wheel selection. I coordinated my wheel widths to work with the backspacing to get the offsets I wanted. A hair inward in the front and a slight minimal poke out in the rear. Some vendors have a problem with rear fitments requiring grinding down the axle ends so that the center caps will fit once the wheels are installed. That's why when I ordered my F14's I went to GYW. My wheels fit exactly how I wanted and I'm running 19" wheels front and rear. No decent pictures yet. I've only driven it once so far this year. Weather related.
