This is why ole red won’t see a Walmart parking lot. Parked the Z71 and grocery shopped, came back out to this. #ihatepeople

Man that sucks, I always park at the very back and try to get near one of the pointless islands they have to atleast protect one side.

^^^this. I try to park uphill, in a wide spot, far from other cars next to an island or a cart catcher. In my truck, vette, wife's car, doesn't matter.

Oh I hear ya, I do the same. I was far out in the lot with at least two empty slots on both sides and nobody in front. Even if there is already a few dings in my truck, she’s still like new to me. Every dent on the truck has come from that lot, no matter where I parked

You're right, some people are just idiots. Sorry to hear about the damage to your truck. Good luck with the repairs.

The Wmart around the corner from my house is almost the only public parking lot I'll take any of my cars, I usually save that duty for my junkie van.
I go to the area where most of the employees park so I know I'll be in and out before anyone around me moves, also find an island to stay tight against.

That sucks! Too bad there weren't security cameras that caught/recorded the jerk.

Most of those cameras can't read the license plates. Fuzzy images. But I suppose better than nothing especially if guilty vehicle has special designs or unique features.

I park as far away as I can and walk. Makes me feel safer and it's good exercise.

Probably 2002 or so I saw 2 idiots in a 1978 or so Camaro backing out of grocery store parking lot as I was walking towards store.

The driver sideswiped the car to the left of them as he turned steering wheel too far to the right.

It was real life Beavis and Butthead laughing out of control then they were leaving and saw me watching.

I asked if they were going leave a note and they said no, and drove off, I tried to remember license plate # and found pen and a piece of trash to write on, put what I could make out on license plate and description of car and left my phone # to call as a witness as I saw it happen, put paper under windshield wiper.

Never heard anything.

If you have comprehensive insurance, this may cover the body repair?

Panoramic camera on an antenna can't cost more than the paint and bodywork

Americans are lazy so I park next to an island at the furthest point from the store. It guarantees no one will park near me.

I don't mind a good walk. More and more of us shop on Amazon and use Netflix instead of movies. Our society is changing.
