I have had my corsa axle back exhaust on for over 10 years but lately I am having a hard time keeping the tips straight. Has anyone replace the clamps and what are you using. Or what are your suggestions to keeping the tips straight? Tack welding?
I had the same problem with my Corsa Tigersharks right after they were installed. The shop suggested tack welding and that solved the problem. Been over a year now and they are still perfectly aligned.
Get a board long enough to go under both tips. Prop them up with the board securely, then tighten the clamps.
When I pulled everything apart to replace my clutch, I put the last part of the exhaust on lying on my back with the car on jack stands. I had the clamps just loose enough to move them around. I laid a board on my knees and brought it up to the tips and forced them up even and tightened them up and they came out perfectly level on the first try.

When I did my clutch a few years ago I added LG longtubes and when I put my corsa back on it was all good now a few years later I cant keep one side tight. Going to try the band clamp like Ponder suggested first then the welding.
