nice looking car.....the sad but truthful fact is the quickest way to lose money is to MOD a car....and the thought that tasteful Mods add value just doesn't hold up. I wish it did but every car i have modded i have lost money on .....the stock ones did much better.
so you better like your mods for your own purposes but never think of them as investments.
and look for modded cars because you can get real deals on the other guys loss
I agree. That's why I've kept nearly all the stock parts for when it comes time to sell mine. Already have an excel file listing my purchase price and a realistic asking price for each mod.

They equal zero as an addition to the price of a vehicle's resale valuation. That's why I have stock parts to put back on the car at time of sale. If the mods add nothing to it, why let them go for free?
But they do have value when sold as a standalone part. So once the car in stock form sells, I can still recoup some money on the mods to use towards the next car if I choose to.

Most mods under $1k and I would agree with you.
But when you start talking about Prochargers, Turbos, forged engines, etc., then you are going to get more at sale time.

I suppose some guys might be looking for cars modded this way, but for me, I won't even look at a car that has, or has had forced induction...I would much rather find one that's 100% stock...they are much less likely to have been beaten on...

This car is built to exorcise "Demons" not cruise around. I don't think most people are looking at it that way, those same people would probably not buy a Demon either.
