Default More help

Well, this newby already has another question. The HUD bezel was broken on my C5 when I bought it. I ordered and received a new one today. Are the posts under it for screws to come in from the bottom or do some clips attach to them. I thought it would just snap out but didn’t want to destroy the old one before I knew. Thanks in advance for any help.
Man, I am digging this car!!!

I'm laughing....for years, on this Forum, the answer to the above question was to take out the dash...four hours and Froggy does it in five minutes.

Thing I don't understand is how the hell they get busticated like that in the first place? It's not like you can get mad and bang 'em with a fist or anything....

Its a two fold problem:
1.Its on the dash board, so extreme heat cycles using very thin plastic.
2.Most of our Vettes are lowered and the HUD takes a pounding.

Lived in upstate NY for years and now in SW Florida for the last 3. Mine's lowered. No problems *YET* (knocking on wood).

That first YouTube video is very good - sure looks simple enough.
