For the price this jack works well with C5s. I had C6 wheels on mine, so 19s in the back and 18s in the front. I could not use my aluminum Craftsman jack with a jacking puck without driving over a piece of wood. This thing worked great. The video shows how much lower it is than the Craftsman one. The only problem is it is heavy. They make an aluminum one but I could not justify paying that much for a Harbor Freight jack. Hope this helps any of you looking for a cheap low profile jack.

Heck yea these Pittsburgh jacks are great. My dad has a few craftsman jacks and the one I was borrowing the most was the exact one you have. I bought the Pittsburgh about a year ago and other than weighing 3 times as much it does the same job. Very happy with it. Think it was 70 some dollars during a holiday deal.

I bought the low profile jack a couple of weeks ago..im lowered so this jack worked great! Nice long reach..

I owned a Craftsman jack like that for many years and it worked very well on my car with no problems fitting under the car. When that jack wore out, I replaced it with a Pittsburgh aluminum one from Harbor Freight. So far, about three years later, the HF one has worked flawlessly. Catch them on sale and you’re right, they are a very good deal.

I have had the Harbor Freight aluminum jack for over 10 years. It had jacked up the three C5's and one C6 I have owned during that time and has performed flawlessly. I was at Wal*Mart yesterday and noticed that they have a red jack that looks to be just like my blue one. I think it was $59.

One of the first things I bought after buying my C5 in 2011 was the HF low profile jack based on reviews on this site. Best 70 bucks I've spent, it fits under the front air dam without issue on my stock car. Just in cost savings for oil changes alone it has well paid for itself. One of the gems of HF, IMO

I have the regular 19.5 inch rise big floor jack that doesn't fit under the c5 so I bought the small light weight aluminum low profile HF floor jack for like $79 and I love it. it doesn't take the place of the big one but it works great on the c5

The c5 curb weight is 3,250 lbs. Would you recommend the 3-ton or is the 1.5 ton sufficient for lifting one side or one end of a C5? I don't feel like moving a 70+ pound jack around, but safety first. I may be answering my own question here, but I'd like other opinions.

I bought aluminum low profile jack from Harbor Freight a year ago I think i paid like $80.00 it was on sale. My C5 is lowered from oem bolt works great with hockey puck.

Brand name doesn't mean a thing when it's made in China. It's one manufacturer and they stick on anyone's label.

The red Craftsman looks like the blue Pittsburgh HF sells. Different color, different label, same jack.

I have the 3 ton Pittsburgh jack from HF and it's a really good jack - one of the better tools I've bought from HF. One thing I like about it is even though it doesn't come with accessories the jack head is easily removable and you can place all sorts of things on there to help with jacking up most anything. I have home-made jacking pucks "keyed" to fit both into the hole of the jack and the frame jack points on the C5. I also have a home made jig I can bolt to the jack to lift the rear in the middle.

I use a 2 ton Craftsman jack. It's so old it was made before China.
I think the 2 ton means it weighs 2 tons.
It is so tall I have to drive up on ramps to get it under the frame.
Maybe it's time for a HF.
