Cleaning and waxing
Just bought this a few weeks ago to add to my C3.
Does anyone else clean this thoroughly?

I do not disassemble the car quite that far, but I come close.
Great looking ‘04 Z16 you have there.

Not much I hate more than cleaning a car. I pay someone else or blast it off at the car wash. If I had the time to clean it I'd more likely spend it doing one of the many mods I've bought but not had time to install. That said, I respect your conviction and if you are free mine's overdue for your touch!

Wow, extreme. Good on you.
I tend to wash my car, uh, once in a while. It drives the same clean or dirty. Maybe every 2-4 weeks, usually pretty darn quick.

I thought I was the ultimate detailer but you take the title by a long shot. Fantastic

I am OCD about keeping my Z06 clean, but my taillight seals allow me to leave the lenses in when cleaning.
I did, however, tell my body shop to sand all the casting numbers and letters off of my Euro taillights before tinting and clearing them. Beat that.
(Not screwed down in below photo. Was testing new bulbs first.)

My across the street neighbor came over to ask why I'm pulling the wheels off after washing....I think he considered reserving me a rubber room after I told him that it was so I could wash and wax my calipers...

Before and after pics of the side emblem. There was a lot of old crusty wax in there.
I used a rubber detailing tool and a toothpick.
Going back over it today with some cooking oil and a q-tip to clean out the corners.
