Sadly, GM discontinued the good top engine cleaner, when rats in California were getting cancer. The stuff they market now is a pale shadow of what it was.

My experience is that it doesn't work.
Had front knock sensor codes intermittently. Changed the knock sensor same thing.
Seafoamed properly on a running engine. Smoke show. Knock code gone for maybe a day.
Pulled cylinder heads. Carbon that it took a wire wheel to remove. The exhaust valves where coked with rock hard carbon.
If you have serious carbon, literally NOTHING will do the job of physically removing the heads and getting after it.
I could've soaked that carbon in any solvent imaginable for a week and it wouldn't have broken up. Stuff on the exhaust valve stems was like diamonds.

I have used it and it works great .Best stuff out there . I use it on many cars that have low compression due to sticky rings and it works . Why are you trying to use it and what are you trying to do is the question ?

Im getting my car street tuned.. i have 31,000 miles and im the 2nd owner..car did alot of sitting. I figured it cant hurt. car has no problems. My friend used it in his c5 and it made a huge difference..same thing car sat alot..

Read somewhere GM suggested doing it every 30k miles. The master cylinder hose is what i used.
