How did you trim yours to fit? Please post a pic if you can!
Thanks!
Barney
Using a very sharp (new) razor blade I trimmed away the top part of the boot that is folded over on itself, used the grommet provided by MGW, and a small tie strap to hold it in place.
Start the process by turning the boot inside out, then trim, fit and tie strap the grommet, and turn the boot back right side out for install. Make sure you get the grommet aligned correctly (long side aligned with long side of boot).
Sorry no pics with me, but if you have Instagram look for CanadianCorvette_c5 for photos.

The grommet makes the fit look perfect.
Thanks. That’s the way I thought it should go and you confirmed it. Now waiting on new boot and frame. Keeping the original because it’s perfect and will need it when I “part out” my mods in the future.
