I installed heated seats in my vert. Now with magnetic ride cannot use that plate for heat switch. I was thinking about mounting the switches on the seat control bezel where all the other seat controls are. Logical location, my question is has anyone installed the switches there and were there any issues re getting in and out of the car damaging the switch or bezel because of the limited room for the switch. Anyone with any other suggestions would be grateful. Ashtray location is not one I would like to use unless its a must. Thank you in advance. Cheers, Rob

How about fabricating a bracket that would fit into the cupholder slot (since the cupholder is really not all that great) and then put the seat heater controls inside there with the lid kept in place to hide the controls?
I installed heated seats in my truck and knew I wanted the switches where I could see them. My wife uses the heated seat a lot and I knew she would leave it on after getting out. I wanted to be able to see the passenger seat switch and turn it off if no one was in the seat. So I opted against the trim panel on the side of the seat for that reason. Seems like there's enough room on the bezel with the Active Handling button, is there not?

This was going to be my response. My guests left my passenger seat heater on and it eventually failed in my truck.
Couldn't you hook them up only turn on when the car is running?
That is the way my truck is set up. The problem is the heaters turn back on when I start the truck. If I don't have a passenger for a couple of weeks, the heater is running all that time for no reason.
The ideal situation would be to have a momentary switch linked to a timer that shuts off after some period of time.
