C5 tire/wheel sizes

I want wider tires on my c5 can I go with 18/19 265/40/18- 285/35/19 for example?

If you go to 18" in front you can to 10" wide in front with a 265 or 275 35 series tire. 265/35 fits perfectly. In the rear I am now running 305/30-19 on a 19"x11" wheel. I have 265/30-19 in the front on a 19x9.5" wheel. Fit is perfect, looks good, no rubbing and rides well, too.

305/30/19 on back of mine. 10.5 inches wide. You will give up some rose quality with a 30 series sidewall. Very thin.

there's a posting in the for sale section that looks identical to my setup.

18x9.5 fronts with 285 35 18's
19x12 rear's with 325 30 19's

in my opinion it's a little too wide for a mostly stock power setup. I'll be looking to downsize closer to factory
