have about a 2 year old restore on my '67, and now the inevitable swirl marks are driving me nuts.I looked into peal/ceramic coating, and will probably be doing it for my trackhawk (daily driver) but haven't found any consensus as to whether it helps with swirl marks, any thoughts?
I posted this also in the c2 forum, but given that things are a little more modern here, figured I'd also post here-- excuse the cross-post :-)
It's all in the preparation for the coating. Being that I am a certified ceramic detailer in Mi I take an average of 10 hours hours in preparing Corvettes for a ceramic coating. 'Mertal' cars about 6 to 10 and soon to be less. If the food isn't prepared perfectly it just can't be any good for ya.

Thanks, I think I'm going to skip it for my '67. just have the swirl marks buffed out, and I'll just have to be more careful when I wax.
