1999 Corvette BCM
Hi,
My 1999 has a bad BCM, it got all wet over a year ago after some heavy rain and after that it did not start or run. We removed all security via programming and added a jumper cable so it will bypass the BCM and start when you hit the key.
Car runs (except for the gazillion DIC messages) but it's kind of annoying now, to have this car with all this messages and some stuff not working. The BCM for this car is 19250337 and I have had a hard time finding one, either new, rebuilt or used! I have paid a few people that told me they had it, only to have my money refunded because the part is not available or the one they had got lost or doesn't work at all.
Do you have any idea if somebody rebuilds, manufacture, repair or sells replacements?
I read that they only work with the same BCM part number, that if I try any other it does not work at all.
Who has been through this or something similar? How do you solve or addressed the situation?

This is why I asked here, maybe someone has one or can chime in with that they did to sort this out.
