Just bought my older son who is graduating high school this week a "new to us" 2007 honda civic (currently has an 03 corolla which will now be handed down to my younger 16 yr old son). So, found an original owner with 105K on it. A very nice 24 yr old girl had it (her parents bought it new and then sold it to her). But, she wasn't the cleanest gal in the world. Don't think the dash and door panels ever tasted a towel. Anyways, mechanically in good condition as he dad took it in to the honda stealership for all the maintenance So, my son and I have spent the last 3 or 4 days getting it clean again. i was at wallyworld and went by the car stuff and wanted to get something cheapish as i knew soap and water probably wouldn't cut the mustard (yeah, there was some of that dried in there!). Saw this bottle of chemical guys Total Interior Cleaner & Protectant. figured it would save me a step and save me from using some of my good stuff i use on the vette. Son went in to study and i tackled the interior - one hour later the car looked literally brand new. I normally never comment on stuff as things are "supposed to work", but this stuff blew me away. Black streaks on grey plastic, caked on food, brown gooey stuff of unknown origins, lipstick (i think?)...i mean all 27 food groups were petrified in there. My son came out and could not believe it was the same car. Amazing. Just thought i'd share - always awesome when you spend your money and something actually does BETTER than expected!!!

Any chance there's before and after pics? At least some after?
yeah, i used Griots before (just because they have a B&M store about 45 minutes away and its super cool-always a show & shine going on there or cool cars in their showroom to look at. Fun to just go for a drive, hit Chic Fil A, and then go to Griots. I like their stuff and used to use their Interior Cleaner/Detailer and then their Vinyl and Rubber Dressing (sparingly) if something really needed cleaning beyond normal water or soap and water. I thought about taking pictures, but i was so jacked up cleaning everything and noticing the huge difference i couldn't stop! Now keep in mind, i'm sure no ones vette is even CLOSE to the condition of this little civic, but if you have dd this will make it look sweeeeet!
