Default Callaway Collection Plus More

So - if you have a little spare cash, a Corvette collector in Amarillo, Texas is selling cars from his collection.

You can pick up his six-car-collection of Callaways for "only" $995,000!!! He says this is the only collection in the world with one of each of the six model years ('86-'91). Makes the price seem more reasonable, doesn't it?!?

If that's too much, how about a 1997 Black C5 with A4 for the bargain price of $60,000!!

And there are others in case none of these strike your fancy.

If you need help driving some of these cars back to your home, or museum, please let me know.

(Unfortunately, you missed the opportunity to buy the 1996 Callaway SuperNatural Convertible #001, apparently not from the same collector, which just sold on eBay for a little over $30,000 which appears to be a true bargain.)

I don't know what's more insane, a 97 for $60,000 or a 02 for $125,000

With a price of "only" $995,000, it makes you wonder what's wrong with them, doesn't it?

I’m sure most of those cars are pretty cool, but nearly $1 million is a hefty price and rather .

But, someone out there may pay the price.

The 1996 SuperNatural which sold the other week was sold cheap, and the buyer knew he got a great deal. The bodywork alone, to do right, is worth close to that now, especially with center exit exhaust option. And it had Callaway wheels, Callaway/Brembo Brakes, and more.

Back to the cars offered for $995,000 - All look very nice, and there's only ONE 1986 Callaway Twin Turbo, and he's got it...

Well this one is sure a complete load of bovine excrement. https://texasclassiccarsonline.com/p...rvette-engine/

"1994 RARE Camaro convertible. Only 200 Camaros with special Corvette engines were built and only 50 were built as convertibles."

Uh.....no. It's an absolute base model cloth interior 4 speaker Z28 (look at the door panel) and it looks like absolute crap under the hood for such low mileage.

He might be thinking the '96 Camaro SS with the LT4 and from memory only 20ish '96 Firehawks were made with the LT4 before time ran out.

But yeah, his '94 is a nothing special car.

Now those LT4 F-Bodies........yeah, those were rare. I passed on a LT4 Firehawk once and regret it now.

Damn, I had a chance to buy a '97 black coupe with an auto back in '06 for only $35000 I think it was. It only had a couple thousand miles on it. I could have made money on that deal. Darn it all to hell.....

The Supernatural was it's own beast, so I can see how it would fetch a grandiose price! It was an awesome vehicle.
