CV boots
It's my understanding that GM discontinued CV boots for C5s. I just removed an axle from my 09 and laid it beside a set of axles from a C5. The inner CV joint and boot are identical, same numbers and everything. The outer CV joint looks very similar and the boots look identical with same numbers. GM still offers boots for 09 vettes, so as far as I can tell you should be able to use one of them. Just thought I'd pass this info along. Here's a pic of my C6 axle between 2 C5 axles.
