It's in the details. They really pop against the white. New emblems make a car look new again.

The black outline really pops against the white.
May be time to consider replacement emblems.

Aren't all non-anniversary emblems black? Maybe the OP should have showed some "before" pics so we know what emblems were replaced.

Correct. Most C5s are being run into the ground hard these days, the fact somebody spent $100 on fresh emblems is the only plus I take from this thread.

His paint is swirled to hell though. Needs some paint correction pretty bad.

I about passed out when I priced a new OEM front emblem. All I wanted to do was replace my gaudy silver 50th anniversary emblem with a black one. WhyTF are they so expensive? Luckily, I posted a WTB ad here and another member had a clean take-off he gave me for free. I insisted on giving him $20 just because I felt like I was robbing him. LOL

Yeah I think one is (not sure if it was front or rear) was $50ish each and the other is close to $100 but that's the anny version.
GM is doing some major felony wallet rapage on those emblems.

Even the non-50th ones are nuts. And the front one just has the 2 pins, but GM must feel they are worth like 75% more than the rear. LOL

I though about a new front emblem when I repainted the nose as mine had fell apart. But after seeing the cost. Nada. Went another way. Next time I need to repaint, I'll stop up the two holes.
