Default What's this part called?

I need the two metal things (one per side) that sit between the targa top and window. I have a1998 C5. My husband purchased me a used glass top w/o any hardware ugh! I bought the side seals, brackets, 2 pegs and the torx screws for the front brackets. All I need now(I think) are there two metal pieces. I think they help hold the seal and guide the window, but I'm a girl, so who knows...

I doubt they are available separately as I suspect they are welded to the roof frame.

They were not on the targa roofs on the 1997's, but installed on the 1998's and later C5's as people were having the top of the window move outward at very high speeds, with the resulting wind noise.

You must have gotten 1997 targa top.

Are we perhaps talking about blow out clips, as alluded to by JoesC5? Marc has them at Vettenuts, as does vette2vette, but my oh my are they ever pricey:

It does seem like the blow out clips are what are being talked about. As said, pics of the area in question would help.

I noticed they moved them rearward after they first appeared too.

1997 not there

1998 toward the front of the top

1999-2004 more toward the middle
