Default The "C5 Sighting" Thread - Was that you?

I live in rural Colorado and in an area that a lot of vacationers visit and pass through. I think our county (Custer) of about 4800 population may only have one Vette, and that's mine. So, I'm always especially excited when I see a C5 pass through here, or in the close surrounding counties that I also travel through.

I'd like to see how many will also contribute to posting their C5 sightings, wherever they are. I'll start with two C5 sightings that occurred this week for me.

On Tuesday (6/19/18) outside of Buena Vista, CO heading south to Salida, CO, I saw a Yellow C5 'vert with the top down while I was headed north. We waved near the Hwy 24 cut-off at the stop light. My Pewter 'vert also had the top down. Was that anyone on this forum?

Today (Friday) (6/22/18) while driving through Florence, CO I also saw a Yellow C5 'vert with the black top up. Not sure it was the same car/driver as on Tuesday, but a possibility. I was not in my Vette.
Was that anyone on this forum?

Saw nothing yesterday, but today should see hundreds of C5s - going to be at Bloomington Gold.

I saw a Silver C6 today driving near Langley AFB in Hampton VA. We gave each other the Wave.

I love that about Vette ownership.

Your stripes look familiar - We may have met in passing...

I’m up around Ft E, but do make the occasional foray to Hampton.
Not too many in the area, so if you’ve seen an NBM C5 or CG C7, it was probably me.

I saw a red C5 Coupe today in Carbondale IL. There are quite a few C5s and c6s in this area. Not so many C7s yet.

I live in central Florida so I would be posting several times a day. I have seen at least four other NBM C5 verts with tan tops just like mine around, including a guy I work with that is his daily driver. It is a cool idea for other places though.

I'll post if I see something unusual
