Default I Painted the Hood Liner for a friend.

My Cruise Night / Car Show buddy saw my painted hood liner, asked where I got it from and when I told him I painted it he asked me if he was to buy a new one would I paint his....Sure, why not. He order the liner from a local dealer and went through 3 of them before he got one that wasn't damaged. According the Parts Guy the GM Philadelphia Parts Warehouse has a hundred or so in stock.
Anyway, here is the end result. His 04 SGM Vert is IMMACULATE !

Well done! Tell me how you did it? Was this "by hand" or did you make and do a shaker can? Whatever you did it looks great!

By hand, 2 different size artist brushes, some 3M Fine Line tape and Testors Model Master paints
I used the 3M tape only in the crossed flag section. The rest was by hand.

Excellent job, I tried to paint mine after I painted the liner black again but it just kept absorbing the colors so I repainted it black and put it back on (I AM NOT AN ARTIST) Again good job, looks very nice!!

You did a very good job on the hoodliner. Your friend should be very pleased.

He loves it Jack....i wasn't going to ask for a dime to do the job...he hands me a card in a envelope and says...Thanks for the job, i love it and good luck on your retirement. Take the wife out to dinner. I open the card up after he left and he gave me $150.00 I almost fell over. I sent him a text stating I can't accept this but he insisted.

I did the same with mine a few years back, but I didn't order a new one...just cleaned up the original, painted it black, then did the emblem. I think yours came out great!
