Awhile back a CF member posted details of a stand he built to hold wheels while he cleaned/polished them. The stand had rollers used to rotate and secure the wheels as they were polished. I’d like to make one like it, but I can’t find his post. Can anyone help?
In the past many years ago, I've seen a metal version, which actually looked like a mini engine stand with a hub mounted. I just did a quick Google search and couldn't find anything like I remembered, but I'd bet if you checked some of the Car Detailing Forums, you'll get a few ideas.

it was ply wood with 4 fixed casters mounted on it, i am sure 3" or 4" casters would work just fine

I realize that you guys are taking about some home made wooden version. I'm simply adding that I've seen what I think was a commercially available metal version that might be worth looking for.

I like the idea of the motorcycle wheel roller. It might work on the CCWs I have. If not, I’ll use it to lub the chain on my ‘95 Honda Magna. Thanks Bob.
